Living system · 02 — AI, automation, bots
Beneath the surface of the website glows the mycelium: AI agents make decisions, automations transfer data between services, and bots engage with customers. Signals flow seamlessly without your involvement.
They process inquiries, prepare responses and documents, and connect to your data.

Before you write
Six questions we’re often asked before starting work. We answer them here, so the first conversation doesn’t start with them.
Cost depends on feature scope, integrations, and timelines; MetaByte provides pricing after analyzing your project—typically within one business day after the initial inquiry.
Three main factors drive estimates: number of third-party system integrations (1C, CRM, payments, maps), complexity of user roles and permissions, and performance requirements. A simple landing page without integrations versus a portal with multiple roles and 1C exchange are vastly different projects; an average price on a website doesn’t serve either.
We do not charge for project scoping. In response, you receive a detailed work breakdown, timeline, and price range—enough to compare us with other providers with no obligations.
After launch, MetaByte provides 30 days of free fixes related to delivered work, after which you can continue under a support contract or take full ownership—the source code belongs to you.
The most costly outsourcing issue is a disappeared developer post-delivery, leaving the product unsupported. We hand over not only code but also access credentials, deployment instructions, and data schemas—everything needed for anyone, including your in-house team, to maintain the project.
All property rights to the source code, design, and materials transfer to the client upon payment — MetaByte retains no licenses and does not block project transfer.
Open-source libraries used in the project remain under their original licenses — we list them in handover documents to ensure no surprises during audits.
Yes — MetaByte accepts projects for enhancements, code review, and restoration, starting with a paid technical audit if the project exceeds a few screens.
This approach ensures an honest assessment: it’s impossible to estimate development time without reviewing the code, and guessing leads to missed deadlines. The audit takes two to five days and concludes with a report detailing the internal structure, fixes needed, and options for cost-effective rewrites. If you choose to proceed with us after the audit, its cost is credited toward the work.
MetaByte works in weekly iterations: every week, something tangible is available on a staging server — not just a progress report, but a live feature you can open and interact with.
We don’t impose our process over yours. If you use Jira, we work within your Jira; if communication happens on Telegram, we communicate there. The only requirement is a working staging environment from week one, which turns disputes about intentions into accessible, shareable links.
MetaByte is a remote studio operating on Moscow time (UTC+3) and working with clients across Europe and the United States through agreed overlap hours.
We set a shared communication window at the start of each project and answer project inquiries within one business day.
