Sowser: Infinite Canvas for Browser Tabs – Salvation or Sandbox?

We've all been there: 47 open tabs, half of them "read later" classics, none closed in the last six months. Developer Uday Dolas decided enough is enough and built Sowser – a browser extension that turns tab management into an infinite canvas with a Gemma 4 AI sidekick.

How it works

Instead of wrestling with a tab jungle, you get a virtual space where tabs are cards you can group, drag, and even ask the AI what's important. Gemma 4 analyzes content and suggests automatic sorting: work tabs in one corner, cats in another, and "read later" stuff into the infinite void of the canvas.

Sounds like a perfectionist's dream? Maybe. But doesn't it feel like tidying your room by buying another closet? The infinite canvas is cool, but who's going to sort those cards when you hit 500?
