Google Cloud NEXT '26: Writing Challenge Winners Announced
Google Cloud picked the best authors — and they're not the ones who wrote about AI from dawn till dusk.
Google Cloud NEXT '26 has wrapped up its writing challenge, and the winners are in. They get virtual high-fives and, presumably, eternal glory in cloud chat rooms.
The winners are developers who managed to explain how their Google Cloud projects make the world a better place without slipping into marketing buzzword bingo. Honestly, the hardest challenge for any techie is writing about the cloud without saying "innovative" or "scalable."
Particularly impressive were real-world use cases: someone automated CI/CD on GCP, another made BigQuery friends with that dreaded Excel sheet. Just how we like it — utility with a side of pain.
Rumor has it, next year they'll add a category for "Funniest Friday Night Deploy." Just kidding. Or maybe not.
