How it works:

• The main page looks like an XP desktop: icons for 'My Computer', 'Recycle Bin', and even the legendary 'Internet Connection'.
• Click an icon — a window opens with Wikipedia content. Yes, there are 'Minimize', 'Maximize', and 'Close' buttons.
• The background is that iconic green hill landscape. Without it, XP just isn't XP.

The devs clearly had fun: clicking the Recycle Bin triggers a dialog 'Are you sure you want to delete knowledge?' with 'Yes' and 'No' buttons. And yes, clicking 'Yes' doesn't crash anything — just closes the page. Subtle humor for those who remember accidentally deleting System32.

Of course, this isn't a replacement for normal Wikipedia — navigating the encyclopedia through an XP interface is like assembling IKEA furniture without instructions. But for nostalgic IT folks, it's a perfect way to kill time between deploys.
