CrowdStrike Update Triggers Windows BSOD and Boot Loops
Massive outage due to a CrowdStrike update: Windows devices hit with blue screen and infinite reboot cycles.

According to reports on Reddit, a recent CrowdStrike update has gone sideways. Users in Australia are reporting widespread Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) and endless boot loops after installing the update.
The issue has affected both individual laptops and servers. In one office, the IT department noted several servers going offline simultaneously, hinting at a large-scale bug. Even a local radio station reported that their phone system crashed due to the same issue.
After a reboot, some devices recover, but not all. If your machine is affected, don't panic. Rolling back the latest CrowdStrike update or booting into safe mode might help.
Comment from METABYTE studio: This incident is a stark reminder of the importance of testing updates on a small group of devices before rolling out widely. In software development, we always follow the 'measure twice, cut once' principle.
